For those whining about JLD not winning—Fleabag is an immensely better show than Veep. And I love both shows, but until this awards show Fleabag and PWB were criminally overlooked. Veep is great but a bit formulaic in its last couple of seasons.
All the nominees in this category wholeheartedly deserve to be nominated. I would've loved to see a variety of them win (JLD and Catherine), but Phoebe is a very deserved winner! Crossing my fingers for Ms. O'Hara for next year!
She is a genius!!!! She has written both Fleabag which with only two seasons is one the best scripted, well acted, and amazing comedies I've ever watched, and Killing Eve, amazing thriller… I mean British are amazing!!! British people have an incredible sense of humor…
